By now many of you have heard that Sinclair Community College was featured as “one of the best colleges in the nation” in The New York Times in August 2009. For those of you who haven’t had a chance to see the print article or the video that accompanied it online, I would encourage you to follow the NY Times link on the home page.

While we were honored to receive this attention from such a prestigious paper, what was more gratifying were the responses of the students interviewed for the piece. We learned from these students that now, more than ever, Sinclair is meeting the needs of our community – whenever and wherever they are.

This issue of Sinclair360 highlights the ways that Sinclair Community College continues to provide affordable, high-quality, accessible education to residents in our region. Every day we strive to ensure that our students get the best education possible, in ways that make going to college as uncomplicated as possible.
